Film Screening and Town Hall: Perceptions and Non-Perceptions of People of Color
Having a healthy democracy is one where ALL voices are included –  no matter the color of your skin, what city or holler you come from, or your past mistakes. But some elected leaders want to make it more difficult for some folks, especially those with a felony in their past, to vote and have their voice included in our democracy. Join leaders from the Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for a Moral Revival for a film screening and discussion on this very topic. Together we’ll watch parts of the show Finding Justice and the documentary Thirteenth and have a conversation about what we can do in our communities to make sure the voices of all Kentuckians are included in upcoming elections. Our discussion will end with a call to action!
